What clients usually want to know before a configurator project
- What does a configurator cost?
- That depends mostly on the number of variants and how deeply it integrates with your shop. A configurator for one product with a handful of options is a different matter from a modular system with thousands of combinations. After a conversation about your product you receive a fixed-price quote.
- How long does it take?
- A manageable configurator is ready within a few weeks. Complex rule sets, many materials or a connection to ERP and production need correspondingly more time. You get a usable preview early instead of facing a surprise at the end.
- Do I need finished 3D models?
- No. If CAD data from engineering exists, we prepare it for the browser. If not, we create the models. For many products a 2D configurator is enough anyway — it loads faster and is often more precise to operate.
- Does it work on mobile?
- Yes, and that is not a side note: a considerable share of visitors configure on their phone. Operation, loading time and display are designed for small screens from the start, not bolted on afterwards.
- Can it be built into my existing shop?
- As a rule, yes. Shopware, Shopify, WooCommerce and other common systems can be connected so that configuration, price and variant land directly in the basket. Handover to ERP or production is possible too.
